Our founders, Federico Uslenghi and Carlo Alberto Monti, are supported by a team of highly qualified professionals who work with a synergistic approach to ensure excellence in every project.
Federico Uslenghi earned his Master’s Degree in Architecture from the Politecnico di Milano in 2011. Following his initial experiences at several architecture and engineering firms, he built a distinguished career at Il Prisma Architettura S.r.l., where from 2015 to 2025 he served as Lead Designer and Project Coordinator for the Cityscape business unit.
Throughout this decade, he developed deep expertise inmanaging complex projects, leading architectural design at every scale, and coordinating multidisciplinary teams. His role involved the technical and economic management of large-scale commissions, alongside serving as General Construction Manager and Project Manager.
In 2025, leveraging this extensive technical and managerial background, he co-founded UMA STUDIO S.r.l. with Carlo Alberto, where he currently serves as CEO and Technical Director.
Carlo Alberto Monti earned his Master’s Degree in Engineering from the University of Bologna in 1998. The following year, he founded ICS S.r.l., a Bologna-based engineering firm where he currently serves as General Manager and Team Leader of the M&E (Mechanical & Electrical) division.
Over the decades, he has developed extensive and widely recognized expertise in plant engineering, fire safety design, and health and safety consultancy.
In 2025, he co-founded UMA STUDIO S.r.l. alongside Federico, bringing his deep engineering background to the new practice.
